Food in Wales.... YUM YUM!!

So, I am beginning to learn more about the Welsh culture as I am preparing to leave in June. I was told that Welsh people eat mostly red meat and potatoes. So, I am really glad that I am not a vegetarian....otherwise, I would be in trouble! I spoke with a couple of other people who said that tea is the main beverage and since I am a California girl, I DO NOT drink tea, so I believe that I will have to bring a large supply of coffee with me to help me with my caffeine urges for that 2 months. Also, they have what they call "meat pies", which is basically meat and potatoes in a pie crust....can't wait to try that one, similar to our chicken potpie, I think... Anyways, just wanted to give you all alittle food culture to add to your day..... BON APPETITE!
