Time is flying by....

Well, it has been a couple of days since my last post. So much has been going on and it seems that time is flying by here. This past week was a mixture of assemblies and kids clubs as well as a BBQ and a girls night that I planned. All of my encounters with the youth have been wonderful and I am very encouraged about the relationships that are being built.
On Friday, we were able to organize the youth meeting for about 25 students. We discussed the topic of Faith and had a great time with games, music, and teaching. We had a game with raw
eggs ...Here is a funny pic from the games...

Today we took a trip to some of the castles around the area. Caerphilly Castle, as seen in the pics, was built back in 1200's. I was amazed at how old is was since we don't have anything like that at home. I was able to take some of the girls from the youth group as well and we had a awesome time together!

We were also able to go to the beach last week. The most amazing part about it was that there were mountains on one side of the ocean and valleys on the other. There were huge rocks that we were able to climb up and look out over- the view was gorgeous! ( As you will be able to tell from the pics....) Thanks for all the e-mails and prayers...I have been very encouraged. Please continue to pray for one of our teammates, Christine, who had to return to the states because of her sister's illness. Pray for team unity and our influence on the youth here in Ponty. Praise for the relationships that are being established with the youth here and pray for continued growth. Pray for God's work in the Welsh community and that His will will be done. Miss you all!!

Hi! Rach! Your pics & info are really neat. Can't wait to see them for real & hear all about your adventures. We want to wish you a Happy July 4th. Maybe we can have some fireworks when you come back since you're missing them tonight. Dalton would love another reason to light a match & make some fire and noise!! Take and care and we'll keep praying. We are sure you are leaving heart prints on those girls and their lives. Blessings--The Seals

We are finally getting our house finished in rock hill. Glad to hear you are doing well. We all miss you here. All is well with Marky, Becky and the gr'ups. Richard is our gardener and house boy. We told him if he left Marco's we would employ him until school starts. Needless to say he is working on my honey-do list. Be good and see ya later.
