6 weeks down....can you believe it?
Well, I am starting my 6th week here in Wales and it is crazy how fast the time has past. The longer I am here, the more I want to stay!! God has given me such a heart for missions in the UK and I am looking forward to opportunities to come back and teach here one day. This past week, we had a short-term mission team from Atlanta here. They did a variety of activities from concerts, sports, teaching in the schools, etc. It was a great time and the kids loved having more Americans here! The kids clubs this summer have been one of my favorite activites...I was able to take some pics of our youngest club. Each week they are so excited to learn more and so sweet to listen as I teach.
We were also able to go to the beach this week with the youth and it was so much fun! The wind was strong, as you will be able to tell from the pics, but the view was incredible! I am totally amazed at God's creation....you can see it so vividly here. Here is Laura and I, braving the wind!! She says hi!THE VIEW!!! Can you imagine getting to see that everyday? I am jealous!
Please be praying for this weekend. We are having a big event in the park with different speakers and bands. Pray for opportunities to share and that lives would be touched. Also, pray for continued relationships with the youth here in Ponty. Praise for Christine' sister and her health and also for unity in the churches here in Ponty at the event this weekend. Also, please pray for continued team unity and that Christ would be glorified in all we do! Miss you all!

The Stanfords miss you, say hi to my Welsh brethren. My fathers side of the family is Welsh and Irish. Kathy's is English from Sweetenham, England. Her maiden name is Swetnam. Soak up every moment and enjoy. I am jealous of the view. My love is the sea. Go carefully w'er you go. Things are going well over here. Looking forward to seeing you soon.
